Atomic Blocks joins the WP Engine family!

Oh boy do we have some really exciting news for you today. As you might have deduced from the massive headline, the Atomic Blocks plugin for Gutenberg has recently joined the WP Engine suite of products! Along with the Atomic Blocks plugin, WP Engine also acquired the Array Themes collection and Gutenberg News.

What does this mean for Atomic Blocks?

Atomic Blocks isn’t going anywhere! With the team and resources at WP Engine, Atomic Blocks will continue to grow as the go-to Gutenberg block plugin. We will continue looking for new problems to solve with blocks while working on the next era of theming with StudioPress and the Genesis framework.

Blocks are going to continue taking over the WordPress space. Everything from shortcodes to full site layouts will soon be handled via Gutenberg blocks and we’re going to be there for every step. WP Engine has declared that Gutenberg is the future, and they’re prepared to help customers win with it.

That has been the plan all along with Atomic Blocks, to help everyone win with Gutenberg, to show them what’s possible now, not just in the future.

Stay tuned, the next area of site building is here, and it begins with Gutenberg and Atomic Blocks.
